Card Grading information
Power 9 Games uses a standard grading system with five grades, roughly following the grading benchmark of TCGPlayer
Near Mint (NM)
Near Mint cards have minimal to no signs of wear and tear from play, shuffling or storage. Edges and surfaces of a Near Mint card should be largely unmarked.
A Near Mint card may have a tiny edge nick or surface scratch but should essentially be unplayed.
Near Mint (NM) Foil
Near Mint foils should have little to no surface clouding and sit flat on a surface, with little to no sign of warping / curling
Lightly Played (LP)
Lightly Played cards will have no major defects such as bends, tears, pen markings or liquid damage. Lightly played cards can have noticeable but minor scuffing, edgewear, corner wear and shuffling creases
Lightly Played (LP) Foil
Lightly Played foils may exhibit minor warping or curling and/or have minimal but noticeable surface clouding
Moderately Played (MP)
Moderately Played cards will have more noticeable and prevalent edge and corner wear, surface scuffing or marks. Moderately played cards can have a noticeable, large crease or a small bend to the corner.
Moderately Played (MP) Foil
Moderately Played foils will show warping / curling and surface clouding. They may also have flaking of the foil finish at the edges of the card.
Heavily Played (HP)
Heavily Played cards are tournament legal cards but with more significant wear. Edges and surfaces will show significant wear and scratching (if the card was played at the school playground with no sleeves, it’s probably HP). Heavily Played cards may have water damage, pen marks, folds, creases or other major imperfections
Damaged (DM)
A Damaged card has a significant tear or crease, extreme scuffing or wear and tear. if a card looks like it’s been through a washing machine or used to sandpaper a wall, it’s Damaged. Power 9 Games does not buy Damaged cards.
1. After grading the cards, Power 9 Games will provide a full list of cards that are Moderately Played or worse. List will include a revised price offer for these cards, based on the table below

2. Signed and Altered cards will be valued at the discretion of Power 9 Games
3. Miscut and misprinted cards will graded and valued at the discretion of Power 9 Games
